Embellished Motif

Do you believe that It is never to late to learn something new.  I am living proof of that.   As a  Christian woman and mother of two son's, and four grandchildren and my husbands support I decided to begin another adventure.  My goal was not only to start a new business venture but  to inspire  womens creativity and imagination by infusing their appetite with the ambition of captivating them into this mesmerising world of fashion, textiles, hand embroidery and embellishments.

About Materials

Unfortunately many of the haberdasheries that are in my surrounding area have closed down or are closing .  Some that are around tend to have limited stock which is a real shame for those like myself who get lost in all things to do with sewing.  Its almost like being Lost in Jane Austen but its sewing.

Regency Linen and Taffeta Dress

Everything we design here at No 25 is inspired by God.  I pray before commencing any design and I truly could not do anything creative without him.  The design opposite was never intended to be a dress.  I sourced this linen fabric to design and create a night gown but changed my mind and this is how this Regency  linen dress was birthed.   This dress was configured from another dress that I have.  The soft pink taffeta fabric was never sourced to add to this dress but one morning I had a download to attach it to the high waistline and hand embroider the edge using organza ribbon turned into flourishes of flowers with seed beading, French knots, which were added  to the front.
